Bonheur Minzoto

Bonheur Minzoto is a PhD candidate at the University of Manchester. He joins RAID on a part-time basis as Research Associate. As part of his work, he assists in research and advocacy related to RAID’s projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Bonheur’s research at the University of Manchester focuses on corporate group accountability for human rights violations. He has interests in business and human rights and corporate law and governance.

Bonheur has industry experience (legal and compliance), including with Freshfields LLP and Nationwide Building Society. He also has experience with the private sector in DRC and Europe with local, non-governmental and international institutions, including Open Society Foundations-Africa and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

Bonheur holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of York and an LLB from Université de Kinshasa.
