"Congolese victims’ pursuit of justice against Canadian Company goes to Supreme Court"
The Canadian Association Against Impunity has filed an application with the Supreme Court of Canada on behalf of Congolese families. The case concerns the alleged involvement of Anvil Mining Limited in a massacre at Kilwa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Anvil denies any wrongdoing.

The Canadian Association Against Impunity has expressed its profound disappointment at the ruling by the Quebec Court of Appeal that the case against Anvil Mining Limited cannot be heard in Quebec. The case will be taken to the Supreme Court of Canada.
